C4E Enterprise Adoption in collaboration with MuleSoft
Challenge:
RBS faced the challenge of adopting a unified integration platform. The lack of uniform standards, transformation guidelines, and mature DevOps practices created hurdles but also offered opportunities to improve efficiency and drive innovation further.
Approach:
In collaboration with MuleSoft, we developed the Centre for Enablement (C4E) to facilitate organization-wide adoption and enable self-service capabilities. We introduced architectural principles, implemented technology and software standards, established a DevOps framework for automation, and promoted knowledge sharing and collaboration through a Community of Practice.
Result:
MuleSoft became the preferred platform within the organization. Federation distributed control and responsibilities across entities, business units, and data domains, while maintaining a degree of central coordination. New processes and automation enhanced efficiency, self-service through user-friendly templates and automations made teams more agile, standardization increased consistency, and the DevOps framework accelerated time-to-market.
